A1 Housing has its own Training and Development Centre that is used by tenants, community groups, schools, local businesses and the general public.
We currently provide practical training and courses to tenants and community groups on subjects as varied as IT skills, job skills and basic DIY. While our vocational training allows us to deliver courses specific to industry such as CSCS, Health and Safety diplomas and First Aid.
We are proud to work with local schools and have given students valuable qualifications that allow them to take up long term work placements and apprenticeships.
Our modern facilities are also available to businesses and are perfect for meetings, training courses, conferences and seminars. Located at Carlton Forest just outside Worksop, it is easily accessible from the major road networks of M1, M18 and A1.
