Lifeline Service
A1 Housing provides a Lifeline Service for all Bassetlaw residents who feel vulnerable or may need extra reassurance in their home.

The Lifeline service is an intercom system that is linked to a 24-hour control room and should you need help at any time of the day or night, you can make an emergency call from anywhere in your home.

By pressing the button on a pendant that can be worn around your neck, on your wrist or on a belt, your call will be answered by one of our highly trained operators.

They will provide reassurance and take appropriate action, such as asking one of your nominated contacts to check on you or call the emergency services.

Our Lifeline service is flexible and can be tailored to meet your needs. We offer three levels of service, all of which come with access to our 24-hour control room and a full support plan. You then have the choice of:

Quarterly (every three months) warden visit to check the equipment
Monthly warden visits
Weekly warden visits

The standard cost includes a one-off installation fee and a small charge to cover the 24-hour monitoring service. After that it depends on the level of service you choose with an additional cost for the monthly or weekly warden support.
