Equality Act 2010
Following the implementation of the Equality Act 2010, public bodies are now required to publish their objectives which will help them achieve the following aims:
- Eliminate discrimination, harassment and victimisation.
- Advance quality of opportunity between persons who share a relevant protected characteristic and persons who do not share it.
- Foster good relations between persons who share a relevant protected characteristic and persons who do not share it.
