A1 Housing has a contract with Mansfield Mediation, click here for website, for the provision of a service to help in resolving disagreements between neighbours. A1 has successfully worked in partnership with Mansfield Mediation since 2003.
Tenants of A1 can be offered a mediation service for free and it can often resolve real problems. The types of issues that create conflict for neighbours include: loud music, banging doors; late night DIY; children; boundaries; parking, dogs and other environmental issues.
Mediation is about giving an equal voice to those in conflict.
