Providing Quality Homes and Neighbourhoods
A1 Housing has signed up to Nottinghamshire Hate Incident Partnership (formally known as the Common Monitoring Project) as part of our commitment to eliminating discrimination and promoting good community relations.
The Project monitors the occurrences of hate motivated incidents, for example where people are targeted on the basis of their race, disability, age. The type of incident can be anything from graffiti, verbal abuse, through to physical assaults. The project helps provides data on incident types, ages of victims and alleged perpetrators, places of incidents, repeat offences etc. A1 Housing and other partner agencies use this information to identify and work together on “hot spots” on estates where you live.
Each year the project publishes an annual report which analyses the statistics of such incidents, and provides members of the Project with valuable benchmarking information as well as data on which to best inform resource application
A1 Housing works in partnership with the Police to tackle all forms of hate crime within the District.
It is a condition of the tenancy agreement that all tenants are responsible for all persons residing in or visiting the property and they do not cause nuisance, harassment, danger or annoyance to a person residing, visiting or otherwise engaging in a lawful activity in the locality, in particular on the grounds of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious or political belief, age or disability
